Hamilton, Bermuda, February 21, 2007. The Association of Bermuda International Companies (ABIC) has scheduled it´s second annual Golf Tournament, a networking event for representatives of it´s member companies and guests from the Bermuda Government, local banks, law firms and other corporations which conduct business with the international sector.
The tournament will be held Wednesday March 14, at Tucker´s Point Club. It will be preceded by a cocktail reception, hosted by XL House, 1 Bermudiana Road, on the evening of March 13. Entry fee is $275 per person, or $1,100 for a team of four. Registration forms are available on-line at www.abic.bm and those wanting further information may contact Fiona Lines at 295-8932. “Our two previous golf tournaments were extremely successful, bringing together people in the community in a congenial way to raise funds for the ABIC Education Awards scheme,” said ABIC Chairman David Ezekiel.
“For more than 26 years, ABIC has provided post-secondary education funding to promising Bermudian students pursuing courses related to international business. In the past seven years alone, it has given $2.5 million in assistance to 150 students.”
ABIC, the voice of international business, represents more than 130 international companies incorporated in Bermuda.
