Chamber of Commerce
In 2001, given the dramatic growth of the international business sector in Bermuda, we incorporated ABIC as an independent organisation in order to better address the needs of our membership. We still maintain a close working relationship with the Chamber, and all ABIC members automatically receive membership of the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce.
ABIC represents more than 110 international companies domiciled in Bermuda.

Since 2013 ABIC has collaborated with Bermuda Business Development Agency (BDA) on the Everybody’s Business Campaign. The objective is to inform on the value and importance of international business to the Bermuda economy and to every Bermudian. The program provides information and perspectives on the wide-range and critically important benefits of the international business sector – to the island’s overall economy, to job creation and the quality of life for residents. Campaign outreach is through radio shows, graphics, film, social media and advertising.
Bermuda Business Development Agency (BDA)
The BDA encourages direct investment and helps companies start up, re-locate or expand their business in Bermuda. An independent, public-private organization, we connect prospective business to industry professionals, regulatory officials, and key contacts in the Bermuda government to facilitate jurisdictional decision-making. The BDA goal is to grow the island’s GDP and jobs.

Community
ABIC collaborates with numerous community organizations including BEC – Work Ready, CURB, and Imagine Bermuda.
ABIC takes an active role in the community. In support of its mission to provide a sound business environment for international business, it partners with regulatory, government and professional organizations.
ABIC also undertakes community initiatives in a variety of areas including education, through the ABIC Education Awards Scholarship and bermudascholarships.com.
